iOS 16 May Arrive With Hidden Details About Apple’s Mixed-Reality Headsets
Apple has revealed when and how the next big event will take place, and some developers may be disappointed by the company have not returned to face-to-face interactions. After all, this year has seen CES and Mobile World Congress gives space for the presence of In-Weon, but it seems that Cupertino is wrong on the careful side.
The company will open the door to choose participants in place, namely developers and students who will take part in direct activities. That means all keynote and Apple talks will be recorded before, which does not function properly for certain demonstrations. Fortunately, it might be too early for the APPLE mixed reality headset to make his appearance, so we might not have to worry about online events just damaging that revealed.
Even though we may still be more months, at best, from the launch of the official Apple headset, which hasn’t stopped some details of the leak. The instructions on the company’s first fortune teller of the world headset might be the most interesting thing about iOS 16, at least so far, because it seems that the company’s software itself can reveal some tidbits about fairy tales.
Every WWDC is an opportunity for Apple to put the foundation of what the next software platform iteration will bring for the next 12 months. This basically means anything given by the company to be released before iOS 17, both hardware or new features, must be on iOS 16, either explicitly stated or buried in the code.
According to Bloomberg Mark Gurman, iOS 16, which is a password name “Sydney,” will include a reference for the VR / AR Apple headset that is widely awaited. This device can be launched this year, but it is too early to make the actual appearance on WWDC. Gurman speculates the most so Apple might be able to reveal during the upcoming keynote is a preview of the headset software, which is reported to be bound to iOS. If that’s the problem, there is a possibility that the mixed reality headset can finally be launched before IOS 17 took the stage in 2023.
It could also be one of the reasons why Apple invited developers and students to appear on Apple Park this year – to give them direct experience involving the prototype, even though under NDA, it is likely. With about two months to go before WWDC, we hope to hear more details about iOS 16 through Grapevine, but new reports also dropped several other previous claims.
IPhone and iPad fans may not want to hold the breath for a completely different experience when iOS 16 arrives, but that does not mean there will be no major changes that occur, at least according to GRUMAN. The next big version of iOS is expected to focus on improvement, with some major updates for the notification system and health-related features.
Apple’s cellular operating system has not received a major overhaul since iOS 7 was released in 2013, and journalists claim it will still not get such treatment this year. Of course, iOS has experienced some improvements for years, especially when branching into iPados, who might get a new multitasking interface on iPados 16. It seems that changes will be interesting, but users must increase their expectations about how drastically the iOS 16 can remodel the experience.
