Apple Just Fixed This Studio Display Software Glitch

Read Time:1 Minute, 14 Second

On Friday, April 8, 2022, some users began reporting problems with their new Apple Studio monitor. Dozens of glowing on community discussions, explained that for some unknown reason they could not increase the appearance of their studio iOS 15.4 firmware.

A brief explanation for all this is that Apple’s own standard practice for firmware updates can be with its own way. Display Studio, in loose sense, very large iPhone 11 hardware. And thus, the firmware access is limited to what is available for the iPhone 11.

Macworld theorized, after releasing iOS 15.4.1 (which is currently not available for the iPhone 11) on March 30, 2022, he stopped signing for version 15.4 which is now obsolete. In other words, Apple stops verifying a longer firmware version, which causes efforts to download it because hardware can no longer confirm that it is valid, thus the studio screen refuses to install it.

On the plus side, fixing a relatively simple problem: Apple only has to sign iOS 15.4 again to signal to the studio of all the people shown that it is a legitimate download once more. Even though it raises questions about how this supervision can happen – with new Apple hardware, no less – and what can be done to prevent it from happening again in the future. But at least now we know that if there is a problem with the firmware installation, we might just need to wait a few days to sort out.
